 Welcome to Ciat-Lonbarde, home of post-70s electronics. What does this mean? It means that we strive to accomodate the future instead of constructing it. Our instruments are notoriously open-ended; you do not need an instruction manual to play themyou can just sit down and experiment intuitively, school-child and old-man alike. This has been the thrust of our electronic design as it progressed from idiosyncratic "squirrel farters" to our current line of electro-acoustic panacea. In our West Baltimore workshop, we work our alchemy in wood, circuitry, plastic and metal; outside the workshop we strive to reclaim the urban desert by working stone into moisture palaces for plants to shade our houses and souls. This is a natural outgrowth of our instrument design philosophy; by resourcefulness and the "Osiris breakdown" we arrive at the bare essence of our situation and use that as a seed to grow from. Please note that besides building instruments and working stone, we are available to lecture in schools, societies, lodges, and churches on a variety of topics related to our sounds and ideas.
