Four deer horns decorate the palaces of dogs and kings, for ice cream parties and dancey things.
A rollable, patchable, modular, radio, synthesizer. Powereed by "Super Speaker", mains transformer, or solar-powered battery. I've thought so many thoughts about you, this ethernet writing is just the ephemera.
The Radio Windchimes hangs on the wall. It has four deer-horn shaped antennae, which carry radio fields into the room. In the room, any movement by person or cat or other entity will change the pitch of each field, much like a theremin. The Radio Windchimes is partially inspired by Clara Rockmore's desire to have more than one pitch come from the theremin. Leon said "well then you wouldn't be able to have a volume hand, thus there would be no volume control, so it is technically impossible". Well now, the Radio Windchimes has automatic-envelopes, which react to the movement in the room. Thus when no-one moves, the Radio Windchime is silent. Or, it reacts to the slight gusts of wind which ripple across its fabric. On a dancing human's approach, sweet tones appear. Or the tones can be modulated by connecting the grommets with a patch cord. Each chime also makes light based on your movement: video of that. As it hangs, I am still trying to understand how it reacts to secret gusts of energy in the room. But I know the shape of the antenna has something to do with it. It seems to respond to something secret, beyond what the air flows, the dog barks, or the bird knows. When Tropical Depression Hanna rolled through the windows and the bendy trees, there was a lot of energy release. You see, before the storm the heat built up energy beneath the sky. In the eye of the storm all that energy is released and there are certain side-eddies, like the roughness of bark as its pulled off the tree. There is the main current of energy up off the ground and out into the storm, that is what you feel on top of the roof, on a global level so to speak. But down in the inane corners of the buildings, that same heat energy has to snake around to get out, making ghosts, which dance up hopefully to make cloud calligraphy which hopefully gets dissipated.
The same process enacts itself in djamming talk-show Rush on the AM. Little eddies form around his voice, and the long winded esoteric "Slick Willie" is covered in radio lace, symbolizing our perceptions of the world, there's much more above and below the "Simple Bill".

musical instrument if you are a musician: you are in complete control of tonality/reality, so you can solo the instrument or you can use your ear to accompany a traditional conch shell band. the instrument reacts to dance/physical/gesture.
the radio windchime is constructed out of wood, leather, aluminum, canvas, and circuit components built on paper (like the other Paper Circuits in free domain).
Dimensions: 59"x19"x1, rollable down to a cube, the Super-Speaker is about 24"x18"x6".
The radio field around each chime is technically a transciever, meaning it transmits and receives. Each chime module then has physical input and output, which are:
- modulation input
- direct sound output, amplified by the LEDS
- extra squarewave oscillator pair controlled by proximity
- the Super-Speaker has an audio output jack too.
$850 is a full sized sail with four modules, cords, and deer horn antennae. comes with a Super-Speaker, which powers the sail, as well as a hi-fidelity amplifier to listen with.
$550 is a half sized sail with two modules instead of four, with Super-Speaker
$450 is two modules powered by battery, no super-speaker
